My paddles are broken. I tried the cleaning procedure and they went from jumpy to deceased. I'd love to hear that you were able to buy new resistors at an electronics store, or offer me some working paddles for a reasonable price-- I can't live without video olympics!
On the happy tip, though, a friend found an Atari trackball in the street and gave it to me this week and now Missle Command is in full rocking effect-- what other games are good with the trackball?

Tue, February 24, 2004 - 3:30 PMHey thanks so much for the tip and maybe for whatever you're not using... so the Sega uses the same 2 paddles on one port technique? I never noticed... probably because I've never owned any other game system besides the 2600. -

Tue, February 24, 2004 - 10:32 PMyes it uses the same pin setup, the middle button on the sega paddle is the useable one and the directional pad is like the stick on the paddle. try it out and I think you will be pleased. ill check for my extras today or tomorrow, and ill let you know it I have any extra.
