    ty for your reply Mike. Any idea if there is something similar for the xp? I realize this was a basic program... but I think my kids would love something like this today.

      you might try running AMS via one of the many atari emulators on the PC.

      My first Atari cart. was Music Composer, which was simpler than AMS, but a lot of fun just the same.
